What's our name?

Five Lutheran congregations merged in 1935 to form our church -

Officially titled United Evangelical Lutheran Dr. Martin Luther Church of Shiner. Over the years we've been know as United Dr. Martin Luther Church or UDML.

Now we informally call ourselves Shiner Lutheran Church, sharing our location and heritage in the name and helping others to find us and immediately know where we are and who we are.
